I fell in love with the trail community, and the opportunities the races brought to explore the world around me. I also learned that my competitiveness and speed were good enough to make me a standout in the trail community; and in January 2014, I signed with Nike.
Cody was a walk-on athlete for the NAU cross country and track team from 2010 to 2015. The mountains, forests, high altitude, and running trails are what attracted him to Flagstaff when choosing a college to attend. During his time at NAU he studied mechanical engineering and primarily competed in the steeplechase and 5k. Now that his collegiate running career is over, he’s turned to competing in trail ultramarathons with fellow TRF pro Jim Walmsley.
Kelly discovered the sport of trail running in 2015 after returning to the States from a 2 month rock climbing adventure in Europe, looking for something new to refresh from the trip. Trail Running soon meant Ultra Running for her and she was hooked, amazed that she could explore so much of a landscape in single efforts.
Patrycja is the world record holder for 24 hours. She ran 256.246 km* (159.223 miles) beating Japan's Mami Kudo previously held a record of 255.303 km (158.637 miles) set in 2011.
Sage is a Mountain-Ultra-Trail Runner who also competes in road marathons. He is a 3-time USATF National Champion (Mountain Running, Trail Marathon, and 100km Trail), and 2-time US Olympic Trials Qualifier in the Marathon (2:16:52 personal best). In 2015 he was 16th place at the Boston Marathon.
Yassine has been racing at a consistent and high level in the ultra running scene, competing in many races of different lengths and difficulty around the world. Some highlights include: 3x Western States 100 (once in the top ten), 3x HURT 100 (once in the top 3), UTMB (top 100), represented the USA in the IAU World Trail Championships in 2015, and many more. He attributes this long time consistency and performance in the sport to good health and nutrition
Becki is a road runner successfully competing in races ranging from 5K to marathon. She currently lives in Hilliard, Ohio, and trains for her next big goal, Marathon Olympic Trials.
She has turned into Spring because of her constant GI problems during training and racing. Once she started using Spring products, she finally was able to focus exclusively on running without being worry about her stomach.
